How to Save Money on Banking?

Welcome back!

Ways to Save Money on Banking!

Do you know banks make good money on daily banking? If you have more transactions to your checking account than the stipulated allowed transactions, you might be paying good money to your banker for those transactions. Did you say you don’t think so? Please do yourself a favor and check out with your bank. Some prefer paying monthy fee for unlimited transactions.

But why not go for no fee banking? You should do research in your local areas for finding out those banks which offer no fee banking. You can also get this information on internet. And you don’t forget that there could be other fees even with free checking accounts. Are you asking what are these fees? So here are some examples like banks do charge for bounced checks, banks do charge if you want to stop payment, banks do charge if you wan to inquire about the balance etc.

So while looking for a low fee or no fee banking, you should ask questions before you sign up.

In today’s economy, check bouncing can be a big time reality with many of us. So I am sharing few tips to avoid happening this with you:

  1. Prepare a budget and stick to your budget.
  2. Withdraw low amount from your ATM if you have no fee withdrawal to your account. If you have limited cash, you will spend less.
  3. If your bank charges withdrawal fee, then you should make a larger amount withdrawal in place of smaller ones. Here is the main trick, don’t keep that money with you. You should rather put that money in separate envelops with budget account noted on the top of the envelop.
  4. Minimize the use of credit cards as you can loose the sight of your budget.
  5. Do more of internet banking as it is offered free by many banks.

At the end you should keep in mind that banks are always looking for more customers and there is a lot of competition for your business if you are a good client. You can also watch out for any banking promotions and use it if it suits you.

Last but not the least you should remember that you can save money while banking if you choose the bank properly.

As always keep saving money for future,
