How to Save Water Every Day?
My son got the assignment in his class on how to save water every day. When he asked me about this, I started thinking that I should write about saving money through saving water. So instead of giving a long commentary, I am going straight to the point and want to share here my thoughts and ideas on how any one can save money by saving water.
Check all the leaky faucets and get it fixed. Better if you can fix it yourself.
Check the toilets to see if there is any leakage and again fix it yourself.
Do you water your garden yourself? Or you got the timer or you just open the tap and water it through sprinklers. Whatever way you are using, review that for timing to see if you are watering for more time than it’s required and in the process, you are wasting water.
Savvy Ideas to Save Money at Home
Recently I attended a function on the green earth day and I started thinking about how can we all save money living the daily life. I came up with the following ideas which are not new but many of us never act on it. So I am sharing some ideas here categorized under different categories.
Living or Media or TV Room
Alwasy use a power bar to hook up all the electronic items and switch it off while not in use. You can start saving energy by just following this practice.
Change the bulbs from incandescent to CFLs or LEDs.
If not already installed a programmable thermostat, then you should do this at the earliest as energy saved by this device will pay for it’s cost within a year.
Benefits of Survey to Big Companies & Consumers
I have received few questions where our readers are asking why these companies do offer big prizes, giveaways and promotional products to consumers? I think this is a very good question. Now imagine this situation for these big companies like Coke, Pepsi, McDonald, Boss, Nike etc, that they invest heavily in a product development and then launch that product without capturing the real consumer’s feedback. What would happen to their product success? It could be a real success or it could be a flop. Or consumers may come back and provide them feedback on what needs to be improved to make it a better product. This whole process will take time in this situation as the product is already launched and others may copy this product and beat the original company with their better product.
